Release notes for version 1.4

* Try out new "Intervals in Context" * Now with microphone recognition - Play with your instrument * Right Note - An ear training app for learning Interval, Pitch and Melody recognition

REVIEW BY Lhp1:
***** The best ear training app so far
I used to say that I would never spend more than 10 bucks with an app, but after trying the lite version I had to get this one. I love it, good job.

Featured in US "What's Hot"

WHAT CRITICS SAY:
I found Right Note to be worth a special mention, primarily due to the inclusion of the microphone This is what really counts here: the ability to develop your relative pitch and use it in context on your instrument

[iosmusician.blogspot.com]
This feature {microphone recognition} is what sets the app apart from all the rest, especially in Melody mode Right Note helps you develop that 'sixth sense,' or 'instinct,' needed to figure out what note is where, with out even thinking about it
Brilliant 5/5

I liked to test my skills in melody dictation, and tried it with guitar and mic recognition, worked really well. If u like these features then go for it!

Ever wanted to play by ear or improvise? There are two main skills you need to learn. First is to recognize what you are hearing on the fly. The second is "knowing" your instrument and instinctively playing the right note.

The interval recognition modes helps you recognize the difference in notes, developing your relative pitch skill. The pitch mode teaches you to hear separate notes, developing your absolute pitch skills. The melody dictation mode combines both previous skills and gives you the real test - playing what you hear.

But what about "knowing" your instrument? Right Note has just what you need as it can recognized notes that you play using the microphone. You can pick up your favorite instrument and use it to answer the questions.

Now it's just as you'd have a personal teacher :)

What's New in Version 1.4

+ New graphics
Time finally came for a face lift of all the UI. Now with a nice wooden finish. Hope you like it :)

+ iPad support
Not your average x2 mode. Right Note now is universal and has native support for iPad. Even comes with retina display for all iPad 3 users.

+ Microphone octave equivalence
New option for intervals and melody mode. Turn this on if you just want to play the right note but don't care about in which octave it should be. This is good news for anybody playing instruments that have their note range higher or lower than a piano. Big thanks to Vance for suggesting this new feature.

+ Some bug fixes
Thanks Jiten for finding the screeching bug in Intervals in Context.
